Durante el trienio 1967 - 1970 fui escribiendo una serie de remembranzas y vivencias que formaron parte de mi vida hasta ese momento. Son recuerdos y sucedidos que influyeron de tal modo en mi pensamiento que, cuando crecieron en número, decidí llamarlos crónicas viajeras y versos viajeros. Pensé, entonces, confeccionar un libro con todos ellos. Y lo realicé. El libro en cuestión lo titulé VIAJE LÍRICO POR ESPAÑA. Posee eighty capítulos no muy extensos sino algunos excepcionalmente, escritos en prosa.
Quiero aclarar que VIAJE LÍRICO POR ESPAÑA es, por lo tanto, un libro-manuscrito que conservo, encuadernado e ilustrado con fotografías de los angeles época de l. a. narración, junto con otros treinta títulos más que he ido componiendo hasta hoy, en un lugar de los angeles modesta biblioteca que poseo, todos ellos inéditos, salvo en tres ocasiones que he editado, en tiradas cortas, algunos de los poemas y trabajos entresacados de los mismos.
Hoy, vuelvo a retomar este título, VIAJE LÍRICO POR ESPAÑA, para designar el del presente libro, en el que, no sólo he incluido una pequeña muestra de algunos de los capítulos que componen el manuscrito unique sino también de los numerosos poemas y crónicas viajeros seleccionados de otros volúmenes que he ido escribiendo posteriormente hasta hoy. De ellos hago una breve presentación de sus características principales, así como una copia escaneada de l. a. portada de cada uno de los trece manuscritos originales utilizados en este trabajo de selección.
