Eine neue iteration von jungen Autorinnen und Autoren ist in den letzten Jahren auf den Plan getreten in der deutschen Lyrik: mit eigenen Büchern, in Anthologien und Zeitschriften, in Blogs, aber nicht zuletzt auch auf Lesebühnen in allen Metropolen und in der Provinz. Lautstark macht sie von sich reden, und wird wahrgenommen: Von Lesern, aber eben auch und vielleicht sogar vor allem von Zuhörern und Zuschauern. Es zeigt sich: Die Sprechweisen sind außerordentlich heterogen, und faszinierend sind die Interferenzen, das Gespräch untereinander, die Auseinandersetzung zwischen Gruppierungen, deren Neuzusammensetzung. Das Klischee des einsam in der Dachstube vor sich hin dichtenden Autors hat vielleicht noch nie ganz gestimmt, heute trifft es ganz gewiss nicht mehr zu.
Die Besonderheit dieses von der Literaturwerkstatt Berlin initiierten Projekts: Junge Lyriker von der Nord- und Ostsee bis südlich der Alpen fanden in Kontakt zueinander und begannen einen intensiven Austausch ihrer Arbeiten. In den drei Ländern fand eine Vielzahl von Veranstaltungen statt, auf denen sie sich mit enormer öffentlicher bzw. medialer Wahrnehmung präsentierten. Das Ergebnis in der klassischen Buchform ist jetzt zu besichtigen.
